Isabel is seeing!!

A clear eye is showing up just north of 14n as Isabel is intensifying.But will it avoid the northern islands as Fabian did still is the pending question but I guess that in a couple of days we will have more clear idea.

Thanks Cycloneye. I thought that was where I saw the center as well, leading me to believe that it had started a steep northward climb

06z GFS has Isabel as a threat to the northern islands.

It seems that the northern islands may very well have to deal with Isabel. There seem to be some talk this morning that the track may extend west.

I don't think there is an eye out there - might be a few days until Recon flies out there to know where the center truly is......I think it keeps reorganinzing like all tropical systems do in the formation stage.
