Those are rare in December, since most storms come from previously extratropical systems that were already at storm or hurricane intensity.

This december poll will close for voting next friday at 9:34 PM EST. So far, the yes option is running away, but let's see at the end,how it will be.

I opted for "no". Not because 2024 won't give it a try because I think she'll try to "give it a go". After Sara though, I'm just thinking that 'ol Mother Nature is beat and ready for a little vacay (for the record, she can find some S. Hemisphere destination to go Snowbird to - she's NOT welcome here in Florida :P )

That monster cold front coming is making me think that the season is likely over. I voted no. If something does form, it will likely be an extratropical storm in the central Atlantic though occasionally a Caribbean storm will form.
