I have never seen a Tropical advisory where they ask the Cape Verde Islands to watch a system lol...

That's cool.. :)

I thought the same thing... but out of all the systems that have become tropical depressions near the Cape Verde islands, I wouldn't be too surprised if they have said that residents and visitors to those islands should monitor the system. :)

That's true. The current forecast is for what is expected to be Tropical Storm Juan... to move northward after a WNW movment into the far eastern Atlantic.

The upper level low that is to the east of Isabel (or will be), which puts it west of Tropical Depression 14 will "turn Juan to the right."
