For some of you history buffs...Isabel was burned at the stake in 1500s
during Spanish Inquistion accused of witchery. Some members of her
family ended up in the West Indies (now the Antilles). Interesting.
Uh Ohh...This the reincarnation of Isabel ???

Isabel is not a good name for the caribbean for another reason in 1985 Puerto Rico suffered a deadly tragedy as a mudslide caused by a strong tropical wave caused more than 80 deaths. After it dumped more than 10-15 inches here it intensified into Isabel and went to the Dominican Republic and caused massive floodings there.

Yeah! I remember Isabel from 1985 very well. Some people also drawned after falling into a river inside their car from a brocken bridge in the highway 52 near Salinas PR.

Not so good....Isabel, the name...
Yea that name sounds familar. Although I was only 4 years old in 1985. This isabel in 2003 has many more effects and hopefully this doesn't hit puerto rico head on. Although it maybe closer than fabian was given the expected due west to west northwest track throughout the forecast period.
