As accurate as the NHC has been with the forecast tracks....

#1 Postby Anonymous » Mon Sep 08, 2003 12:13 pm

of previous storms, Isabel's forecast track should be of major concern for the islands and the SE coast of the United States, from southern Florida, up the coast to North Carolina.

The NHC has been very good the past few years with their forecast.

This season they haved been fantastic when forecasting tracks is concerned.Claudette was A+ as they said south texas and she entered just a tad north.Erika they said it was another south texas one and it made landfall just south of Brownsville.Fabians forecast track was great and now we will see when all is set and done with Isabel if the forecaat track was right.

The technology they have been afforded has been a major plus in helping forecast these systems with so much accuracy, it's getting to be scary. Contrary to what so many others want to say about the NHC.

I'm afraid this is a GOMER after possible FL. strike.

Well it looks from a long distance that Isabelle is a GOMER storm once it POSSIBLY stops by FL.
