Success! Computer Working..But Worried...Izzy Forecast #3

#1 Postby MWatkins » Mon Sep 08, 2003 8:18 pm

First of all...yeah! I have a new computer up and running. Nice not to have to battle the CPU to get stuff done.

The forecast shows why I'm getting more and more concerned...

MIKE, EXCELLENT FORECAST! DO YOU HAVE A"GUT" FEELING ABOUT ISABEL'S FINAL DESTINATION? AND DO YOU THINK THERE IS ANY CHANCE SHE COULD END UP IN THE GOM? THANKS.

Apreciate the forecast MW but you why I dont like it.Yes it will pass to our north but to close for comfort as it will be a cat 4 at that time and the radious of winds is large we in PR can get TS force winds especially in the north coast.

Eastern Gulf...Maybe...

#4 Postby MWatkins » Mon Sep 08, 2003 8:42 pm

First of all it's not a lock that this will reach the US...but the odds are higher than with Fabian.

If it does...I don't see it getting much further west than the Florida panhandle...but it's really just way too early to make that call as a turn 2 degrees on either side could mean a big difference in where the eye ends up. This far out...I can only feel confident about trends...and the trend is west for a long time.

Both..Or Neither...Or...

LOL!

If I could tell you the answer to that now...I wouldn't be writing forecasts at personal cost...that's for sure!

Be patient! By definition...long trackers take several days to wait out.
