El nino 1-2 area off southamerica has cooled greatly in the last few weeks and the el nino 3-4 area also is cooling but in a more slower pace but the data shows hat ssta's of + 1.5 to +1.0 are found there down from +2.5 in the last few weeks.
Let's wait for more data to see if la nina will be in full force during the hurricane season because the evidence points that way or it will be a neutral pattern.
