Non-Isabel action in GOM next week?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Non-Isabel action in GOM next week?

#1 Postby Portastorm » Wed Sep 10, 2003 8:53 am

Bastardi from Accuweather is growing bullish on development in the western GOM late this weekend into next week.

He says a current tropical wave from the Bahamas into Central America is moving westbound and may interact with a frontal trough which is pegged to be over the western GOM by late this weekend. The end result? JB suggests the possibility of a hybrid system developing west of 90 west. Again, a POSSIBILITY.

Something worth watching if anyof us get tired of viewing the latest model run on Isabel.
