I know all the buzz is about Isabel and her apparent beeline for Florida, but as I am about to sign off and no longer be a night owl, I pause and remember.

I remember the horrific images that were shown.. I remember the panic, I remember the chaos even I was feeling here in Florida.

But mostly I remember the tragedies involving the firefighters and police who died trying to save others lives.

From the World Trade Center, to the Pentagon, to the rural field in Shanksville PA

God Bless America and God Bless the victims of this horrific day 2 years ago..

I vividly remember the cold chills that went up and down my body 2 years ago today when i realized what was happening.

May our thoughts and prayers be with the survivors and the family & friends that lost loved ones in the 9/ll tragedy

I remember I was in my lab and yes we have cable and internet connections there. I had just logged into the chat room and Ticka and Janice were there.It was shocking,what was even more shocking was when I got a call to close down the lab and leave the buildings.

God Bless those who died that day and to all who have since left this planet because they have protected our right to do what I am doing at this moment.

We won't forget what happened on that day. It seemed like yesterday when it did. It was like any other day until 8:45 AM EDT. May all the victims rest in peace.
