I want you to read this closer, I think the words Should and Could are very important here. NHC is not putting any firm Indicator here,This is not in stone IMO. See ya all this evening.

BECAUSE THE RIDGE SHOULD BEGIN TO TEMPORARELY
WEAKEN...ISABEL COULD TURN MORE TO THE WEST-NORTHWEST IN ABOUT 24 TO 36 HOURS.

Thanks for pointing out that distinction, John. Agreed that we should realize that Isabel's track is not a certainty and that much can happen over the next few days.

With the strength of this storm, I can guarantee that NO-ONE is going to be making ANY definite statements! Not if they like their job anyway.
