If you don't think the panic is on .......

Stopped at the local Albertsons on the way home from work and low and behold the bottle water displays had tripled around the store. I'm north of Orlando and expect the plywood trucks to be showing up at Home Depot this weekend.
One thing is for sure even a close call is going to drive a lot of people nuts here.

Howdy, Neighbors!

While off topic a bit, I had to share this irony. Today a POD (Portable On-Demand storage unit) will be delivered to my Orlando home. I sold the home last month and close on it next week. My friends and family will arrive Saturday to pack me up and then off I head back to my hometown -- Cape Canaveral!

While I'm still at the "curious stage" and not yet at "caution" or "concern", I have complicated my family's evacuation contingency plans a bit by selling the only home within the family that is outside of an evacuation zone. 8-)

It's going to be an interesting next few days -- for all of us.

Take care,
Jacie

I have a friend that travels 2 weeks out of the month and he is leaving today, so just incase he boarded his house up. We live in Melbourne. At first I laughed and then I figured that was smart of him I wouldn'thave thought of that. Always be ready...

And never forget...Bless our troops.

So ya have extra food. We always have all the stuff we need stored away, except the things you have to wait for last minute. Gas, ice etc... You just never know. Luckily we just had a house built and it comes w/ hurricane shutters.
