Confused About Model Runs

#1 Postby chris_fit » Fri Sep 12, 2003 7:57 am

Ok,

Everytime the model shift further north, after every update.... Isabel wobbles further WSW, are the models missing something or are they wrong or will this thing really turn north. FL getting out of the woods slowly?

I think the models don't really have a clue and are greatly anticipating the reconnaissance flight.

The models are not really "skilled" if I may say at predicting interactions between hurricanes and mid latitude systems but they may be right at what they are suggesting. I suggest we just wait till they have more data from the NOAA jet.
