Remember last week?

#1 Postby WeatherEmperor » Fri Sep 12, 2003 3:58 pm

Do some of you guys remember last week on Friday when I made a post about a potential trough coming in to cause Isabel to move more NW away from Florida? I believe that at the time I posted this, the trough was still just entering the Pacific North West. As you can see I saw that trough a week in advance and had a feeling it would do this cause of the timing of Isabel and the trough. Guess I was right to a certain degree. This one looks like SC/NC. Not saying Florida is all safe but taking the 5pm NHC discussion into consideration Florida will be spared.

The National Hurricane Center has mentioned that those from Florida (mainly central and northern Florida) to southern New England should continue to monitor the progress of Hurricane Isabel.

Yes that is the one I am talking about. lol good job doing your homework to find that post! Yeah I was correct on this one. I feel secure now and feel that Florida is out of the woods cause NHC Director Dr.Max Mayfield said himself at Channel 10 news here in South Florida that he does not feel as if Isabel is a South Florida storm.
