Good Morning Everyone Look At Me!!!!!

#1 Postby TampaFl » Sat Sep 13, 2003 5:46 am

It appears Isabel is continueing to move west right along 22N latitude. No signs of that wnw to nw turn yet as was starting to occur at about this time. The further west it continues could cause the models to have to shift back west. Once the NOAA G IV jet samples the surrounding environment and that gets ingested into the models for this evenings ,then hopefully we will have a better idea of where Isabel will go. Thoughts and comments welcomed.

Good Morning :)

I agree it's going to be another 24 before we can start believing the models again..They kinda tightened up yesterday and then spread out again..With some obvious junk as well. I think the 280 is about right..with the usual wobbles and eyewall fluctuations. It will be as interesting to see how the speed of Isabel progresses in the coming days.

Yeah, I kept seeing that "will turn wnw anytime now" for the past couple of days and it just isn't happening. The latest forecast at 5 am said westward motion to continue for 24 hours. If that happens and it then turns west northwest, Florida is going to get smacked.
