As you can see the UKMET now goes north of you as a landfall contrary from yesterday and also the NHC forecast track is pointing towards cape Hatteras and not your neck of the woods.But dont take all of this as a given and relax because anything can happen but I think this morning you can breath somewhat easy as the shift north continues.

I was just getting ready to go to my parents house to help my dad buy plywood.....wonder if he should hold off on that????

I wouldn't hold off get it while it is still there justin case you can always use it another time!
