If the hype is starting now with Isabel more than 1,000 miles away from the east coast imagine when there are watches and warnings posted.Sp folks prepare for a frenzy by the media if Isabel threats any part of the east coast.

I have already prepared. I figured at the least, I will still use the supplies I have purchased in the future. But I have kids to take care of, better to be safe than sorry the way I see it. We were out of power with Fran in 96 for 3 weeks and 1 week with Floyd in 99, so I'm not taking any chances. Not with an 18 month old in the house. I'm also about 150 miles inland.

Good for you Angela! I hope everyone takes precautions, because as far as the weather is concerned, you just never know, and I don't want any of the S2K family to be in danger!
