SST map

#1 Postby CatullusA » Sun Sep 14, 2003 12:02 pm

Can anybody provide a map showing the current status of SST north of the Bahamas Bank and off of the Eastern Seabord? The latest I can find is the NHC SST analysis, which is for 8-30 through 9-6.

Use Google

Search terms: current SST Atlantic

(or maybe it was SSTs)

That will bring up a number of daily images

And here's a good one

Note how you can see Fabian's wake, over which Isabel has just passed (probably explaining the relative weakness over the past day)

Or this one:

Or this one of Delaware area:

Or the main site with all the above graphics:

They're all in the "Marine" section of my WorldWide Weather page.

Here's one I highly recommend...it's close up on the Atlantic Basin south of 35N and west of 65 W...updated every night...
