Great site for determining distances

#1 Postby HurricaneQueen » Sun Sep 14, 2003 8:17 pm

I just found this in my bookmarks from prior years. Just plug in your coordinates and those of another place (like the current coordinates for Isabel) to get an idea how far it is. Please don't take this for more than it is-just a guide but interesting to know. Enjoy! Lynn

You have to put the decimals in to get an accurate reading. Otherwise, the program doesn't understand the query.

Fotr those of you that haven't had a chance to look around the rest of the site, here's our conversion page as well :-)

If you need to take a brak from the Tropics please take the time and look around the rest of the site :-) We have evacuation maps for a lot of the eastern seaboard as well as a pretty good set of links organized by area.
