pretty cool. I especially like it showing the water temps up on the shelf at 72. Does this mean there is plenty warm water between there and Izzy

It will be very interesting to watch that cam as the week progresses!!! Thanks galvbay.

The 72f water temp is not a good temp for tropical cyclogenesis or maintenance of the strength of a tropical cyclone. 80f or above is usually considered the threshold for the birth of a tropical cyclone. But yes there is plenty of warm water between Isabel and the NC coast called the Gulf Stream.
