Actually, I had planned to go to it with my honey's Mom and his sister, but we decided at the beginning of the week to can it. I've never been to it before - we're probably getting some of the storm because I decided that this is the year for me to go!

There are Tropical Storm Warnings posted. I believe that the Festival runs from Thursday - Sunday. Maybe they'll try to salvage Saturday and Sunday.

Oh heaven's, lassie! They'll be dancin' jigs around the ole girl when she comes to shore.

Brings new meanin' to the Irish blessin' "May the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand."

I will try to keep you posted- ( power permitting) I'm right here in Cape May County. We sustained well over 25 mph already.

I do know that a huge sign popped up in North Wildwood this week saying,
"Isabel is not Irish".

ferry is down again today- supposed to be running by tomorrow, though.
