Dept of Homeland Security

#1 Postby SWV » Wed Sep 17, 2003 8:13 pm

FEMA is now part of the Dept of Homeland Security; it will be interesting to see how all the Federal agencies can co ordinate at this time. Do they speak the same 'language'? Do the different agencies understand each other mission and prioritize accordingly? I know that the Dept of Homeland Security has offered Maryland assistance in this time of need; it surely will be a learning experience for this new agency. Susan

Great, if the Department of Homeland Security is there.. Tom Ridge will be there.. and then he and everyone else in the DHS will try to blame Isabel on Saddam or Osama

LOL sorry.. had to get that out..

On a more serious note.. Fema will help anyone and everyone.. I remember getting assistance from them in 98 after our deadly tornadoes..

Hmmm.....when Izzy hits NC, would Homeland Security then label her as a "Domestic Terrorist Cell"?
