NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
4 AM PDT THU SEP 18 2003

FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..

THE REMAINS OF LINDA...A WELL-DEFINED SWIRL OF LOW LEVEL CLOUDS...
ARE LOCATED ABOUT 550 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA
CALIFORNIA AND ARE DRIFTING SOUTHWESTWARD. THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF
RE-DEVELOPMENT.

AN AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED ABOUT 150 MILES
SOUTH OF MANZANILLO MEXICO HAS BECOME A LITTLE BETTER ORGANIZED
THIS MORNING. SOME FURTHER DEVELOPMENT IS POSSIBLE OVER THE NEXT
FEW DAYS AS THE SYSTEM MOVES SLOWLY WESTWARD.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH
FRIDAY.
