No...not moving NE. However...over the last 2 hours it does appear to be movnig a little more north than northwest....but certainly not to the northeast.

A Big time fox error....................No the hurricane is not moving NE.....................Maybe its me BUT i never watch NEWS station for weather info for the exact reason you (janswizard) just pointed out......................Pretty much stick with this, NHC , NWS, and yes even twc-tv for current info on the weather..............

Looking at dopplar radar, it looks like the rain shield is moving due north.

It is pretty windy down here now in Atlantic City. Looks like the rain will be getting to us in the next few hours.

I don't know, weatherluvr, but the first time I saw it, I figured it just a graphic error. But they have been showing the same graphic for a couple of hours now. I guess they are being "fair and balanced" by giving each direction a shot. Maybe next time it will be SW or SE?

Speaking of the Great One: I saw his post early this moring on "another board" calling for a Code Red. Got a huge laugh-what a way to start the day! Haven't been back there since so I don't know the latest color scheme.

Watching Isabel closely and hoping for the best for all of you who might be affected. Be safe! Lynn

Yeah....he went all the way up to 125 mph on sustained winds. That boy needs some serious therapy and drugs. Who knows...he may be getting a drip as we speak.

Fox News Channel uses WSI (Weather Services, Inc.) in Bedford, Massachusetts, which is northwest of Boston, Masssachusetts. Their meteorologists are professional. I believe it is where Mark Mancuso started; he was on a Boston radio station in the 1980's and I believe still today they are used on some Boston area radio stations.

At times we hear meteorologists say they wrong thing and they don't catch their error. Happens in other professions, too.
