Wind gust to 44 in last 15 minutes with sustained at 25-30. Winds are now more e-se rather than e-ne as from 8pm ob. Temp has risen from 67 to 73. It now appears that the storm will continue to track nw and Not make much more of a northerly turn thus the DC metro area may have experienced peak conditions already as opposed to the idea that the worst would be between 10pm-2am. DC metro has sustained moderate storm damage while tidewater of Va and NC coastline appears severe-extreme with Richmond and points south and west in serious flooding problems with up to 10".
