Kate is closing in on Bermuda..

#1 Postby Josephine96 » Sat Oct 04, 2003 10:42 am

I'm no expert on storms.. though I know a lot. and I am not a geography major but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Kate is closing in on Bermuda.

I know a trough or something is scheduled to kick Kate back out to sea but if she gets any closer to the island, she may cause tensions in there.

I'm willing to bet you they still aint done cleaning up after Fabian :(

It's been a rough season for Bermudans'. I hope Kate turns before she approaches.

Hurricane Kate is not weakening with winds still at 115 mph, and they may still go up to 120 mph, but the trough digging off the east coast will have a significant impact turning it off to the north.

I don't think Bermuda will be worried. Kate should start to veer north pretty soon.
