New convection

There has been some debate as to the status of Nick. Is he getting stronger or weaker. He looked weaker this afternoon than he did earlier. But looking at the recent explosion of convection, we may be seeing strengthening, if it is near or over the LLC. Looks much better on sat.

Yep, 18Z Dvorak was down to 3.5 again, but at least one cell has exploded just NE of the center in the past hour. Will this continue? I suspect Nick will get better organized tonight then fall apart again tomorrow. Just too much shear to contend with.
