The tropical forum of storm2k is the place to be when tropical weather is concerned around the world because we have the best team of forecasters and proffesional mets around the net that brings all the information about the models, the patterns, the factors ahead that affect the storms etc.And of course weathercentral where we have our own forecast for storm2k that is #1.
Storm2k tropical forum will Stay Open all year Long

When the season officially comes to and end on the 30th it doesn't mean that we will close this tropical forum but on the contrary it will be open because around the world especially in the WPAC and the Indian ocean system develop constantly and also we can talk about what to expect for the 2004 season so keep those posts comming to this forum not like other boards that will close on the 30th like TWC.

No problem Tom but the important thing is that this forum will be open for all to post or view what is going on in the tropics no matter what time of the year it is.
Not like other boards that will close the tropical forums.

Sure are, Rob.
Last time members here mentioned that they wanted more discussion on the TWC Tropics forum to have a discussion on tropical cyclones worldwide during the late fall, winter and early spring.
Are we expected to respond like we do with system closer to home?

Obviously Coldfront if there was a system that had the ability to threaten the local area people would naturally be interested. As for me I follow tropical systems all over the world as a hobby. The interest does not dim because the system is in another ocean basin. I just glad that I have an opportunity to follow and post about said system!

Stating the obvious is part of discussing meteorology and other issues.
It is my hobby, too... I can't help it if there isn't anything to discuss about a tropical cyclone in another ocean basin.

Good floydbuster and we will remain open this tropical forum all year around because always there is activity around the globe in the tropics and also we can have discussions and analisis about what to expect in the 2004 season.I dont know why other message boards are closing the tropical forums if there is $$$$ problems or other reasons but it is their choice to close but here we will remain open so join the tropical weather discussions.

sounds like a great idea
Got to remember, tropical systems occur around the world all year long. Australia will likely see their season in the not too distant future and the west pac and indian ocean are both areas to watch also. Great idea!! 12 months sounds perfect to me!!

In addition to tropical systems around the world I will probably be posting in here and asking some questions. I still have much to learn about tropical systems even though I learned a lot this year thanks to Storm2K.
