I knew when I saw it, that damage would be done, and lives lost. Brazil wanted to avoid a panic, CRAZY!!!

MUCH research will be done on this one, plus another tropical system that formed in January (saw this on another website today...)

So sad
It is terrible that the people of Brazil had no chance to prepare for this horrible event. Who is to blame? The Brazilian Govt. needs to take some of the blame for the lost life. I doubt much could be done to eliminate the property damage but people could have been sheltered in time to avoid death. The fishing boat may not have been out on the water if they had been informed. There is no way to know but I do hope the govt will wise up and make preparations if an event like this one ever threatens again.
