Catastrophic event hours away on the Micronesia Island nation of Yap

Typhoon Sudal rapidly intensifying with an extreme eyewall burst.

Not to be stupid here. Can not get a hold of my sister in Guam. Been trying most of tonight. I also can not read the maps from up above. Please tell me Guam will not get hit that hard. Hopefully soon I will learn how to read the maps. Thanks.

No problems...Sudal is already southwest of Guam. :)

Guam has winds in the upper teens to mid 20s. Just a little breezy with an occasional shower. Conditions are expected to improve as Sudal has already passed Guam

Like I said before, i'm still not certain that even the Philippines are out of the woods. Another upper level anticyclone further west is now coming into play. The weakness between the two ridges may not be strong enough to pull Sudal northward. The next few days should be VERY interesting. The global models are continuing to shift slightly each day.

I still haven't gotten through to my sister. Things as you say are quiet she must be hooten and hollering somewhere else. LOL!! Thanks again guys.
