Looks pretty quiet so far. I was reading where the sea surface temperatures are a little warmer than usual in the western Carribean. I wonder what the chances are for an early season storm similar to Allison in 1995. There seemed to be alot of windshear with that last disturbance about ten days ago that lifted NE near the bahamas then out to sea.

Without looking at the current wind shear maps I can say there has been a lot of wind shear in that area and at least a few days ago when I last looked continued to be. However, as I said in the outlook this is one of the times of the season we watch that area for development.

Excellent David!!! The western Caribbean has a nice flare up :eek: Nothing imminent though thats the place to watch this time of the year!!
