Latest track from the JTWC on the super-typhoon put's Okinawa even closer
although still on "weaker" west side.

Although Dianmu should also be producing very high waves to all those islands and probably big landmasses like Asia. Days ago southern California was being affected by waves from a storm in the Southern Pacific, subsequently, these powerful typhoon should be doing something similar. Should be great to do some surfing in Hawaii!!
