For us in the eastern carribean,we known that the real season of hurricanes extended in August and September,and more focused from15th of August to 30th of September.
The great majority of storms occured in these months.There is in some occurence out of season storms,some infamous,like the hurricane of July 1825 over Guadeloupe and Puetrto-Rico,or Lenny in November of 1999.
But,for the most part,teh threath is foccused during 60 days.
So,for all the people that think that a late start of a season,means that wee will have a dud season,PLEASE,look at the history.In fact early seasons,are frequently inactived seasons...........(exept for some very actives seasons like 1995)
