You can too if you go to this site and click on the pic of Goes-East Storm Relative. Look on the west edge of all the cirrus well west of where we saw convection firing near 16n 75 west. It has to be at least somewhere around 700-800mb as I see nothing but LL clouds swirling around this center.

This system is still moving too fast and all it's upper structure is tilted, therefore all the disorganization.

Still no LLC. I only see what looks to be a weakening MLC this evening. Shear continues to hamper any development. Perhaps in the next 24 hours it may become a little better organized.

Also staying much further S and far away from GOM. I don't think this will be a GOM threat at this point. TW headed W toward Mexico with very little N component to the motion.

You are either not seeing what I can clearly see or just don't recognize it for what it is. Go back to that site above and look on the far left of the loop, you will see a LLC just now coming out from under the cirrus band from it's upper support to it's east. It is tilted badly.

You can tell it is close to the surface because the Cirrus above it is racing northward and that cirrus can't be more than 30,000 ft. if that.

This thing if it develops will pull more WNW. I wouldn't say this will not be a GOM threat. It is way too early too tell.

It is still moving ever so slightly north of due west and moving very quickly, at least 25mph.

It's not really a LLC...for there are no westerly winds or a closed circulation. The circulation looks closed in relative motion but in actual motion its not. All the cloud elements have a somewhat westard motion to them. There is, however, a low level vort max and I would imagine the winds on the south side of the vort max are relatively weak.
