the Bahamas blob does seem to be moving in a slightly southerly direction -- or maybe it's just the late hour and my eyes are getting fuzzy.

Dixie its possible it has drifted a bit south and it may wobble around there for the next 12 hours or so as theres really nothing to move it. if high pressure prevails to the north and east of the system then a slow....make that very slow..west northwest track is possible.
