Not many tracks do go right over va Beach. Amazing hot Hat always gets hit but 100 miles up, hardly ever. Shows just how Hat sticking out increases the odds of a strike so much

or even if izzy came in at 105KT or stronger (if the boundary layer wasnt messed up as it was, and the typical 90 percent reduction, which would have brought 105-110KT sustained winds in the cane) would have means no more va beach, or a severely damaged one
