Possible High Pressure and Due W. Motion....

#1 Postby HeatherAKC » Thu Aug 26, 2004 12:08 pm

Please, experienced and educated mets.....discuss....

When is this high supposed to build. What day?

Will this cause a complete due west motion?

At what longitude?

Is it a "Bermuda High" thats building?

I know nothing.......and I know it's really early in the forecast....

.....just that this is looking too much like an "Andrew" set-up....

after a few days of making its nw turn, in response to a trough coming down in the n atlantic, high pressure is suppose to build in back of the trough as it lifts out, creating a block of a more northely movement. According to models the west movement should resume again in 3 to 4 days, maybe a little longer, maybe around long 55w
