I'll go out on a limb and say Charleston or Myrtle Beach (sorry SC!)....though I know all the FL landfall believers strongly disagree with me. This path is just looking a little too familiar to me, as I sit on the SE coast of NC. But I am definitely not "-removed-" a NC (or anywhere for that matter) landfall. I wish it would go out to sea. Hurricane Fran was enough for me....I don't need or want to see Frances, thank you very much!

FL/GA border

(Which is still bad news for SC, given Frances' size.)

TLHR, can you imagine the storm surge given the curvature of the coastline there? Would rival Camille's storm surge. It's shaped like a
funnel.

Before it speed up this morning I would have said Savannah. Now...my total WAG is the Cape. But because the slope of the coast and the direction she will be moving by then...could be from Palm Beach to Brunswick Ga...it's all about timing. Titusville is on the center of that so...that's my guess. Plus...last week when asked I picked that as my southernmost point...with the northern one at SC/GA border. So...I'm trying to stay loyal :-)

But...if the foreward mostion stays fast...West Palm beach and points south are targets.

TIMING!!!!

I will say a Ga/Fl border line. or she will go through the S. tip of Fl into the GOM and up the Gulf and hit AL/MS , this morning a model i looked at has her hitting NC this was early this morning the gfd had her right on top of NC in day 8 Sure Hope not becasue it had her right on top of where i live....

Mr. Met, I was going to post a "WAG" also. :D I think this far out can only be a "WAG" So I'm going with a GA. landfall just because it's been such a long time for them and it's their turn! :(

Darts you say?

I'll go for Miami. I have NO reasons for this and this isn't a forcast or anything else. I just picked a well known city that might eventully be in the path of this *Laughs*
