Frances looks bigger than earlier

#1 Postby lookout » Mon Aug 30, 2004 1:13 pm

Looking at the satellite presentation of Frances, it would appear she is getting bigger or at least is bigger than before. Likewise, it appears the southerly shear has slaggened somewhat or is gone with outflow no longer restricted in the south and southwest quadrants. The global models would seem to indicate that Frances will be quite a large storm in size when she makes landfall which would mean a much larger area of destruction than Charley with his small high inner core winds. Frances looks very organized on satellite and could be the precurser back to a cat 4 or even 5. any thoughts?
