Here's a shot I took of the alleged TS Hermine this afternoon. Note the 40-mile wide swirl of low clouds north of a couple of thunderstorms. The NHC says they may downgrade Hermine to a TD if the buoy north of the center doesn't observe TS force winds in a few hours. Any bets on this one? And they say that satellite estimates say Hermine has 45kt winds!! Unbelievable.

If you take a look at this it looks like some of the thunderstorms from Hermine are spoking out towards Gaston.
