If NHC blindly worships GFS and GFDL and hates the EC....

Then why is the 5AM forecast track landfall about 4 times closer to the EC landfall than the GFS or GFDL landfalls?

My guess is that they are tending to think the models will eventually rend west(per last nights discussion) and that they trust conisistency over waffling from Miami to Charleston with each run. PErhaps they are using good old fashioned knowledge and it making them believe that it will stay more west. WE will have to see...
