WV Loop of Gulf...Ridge

Does this loop appear to show the ridge building over Florida and into the eastern Gulf...a little insight...looks that way to me

IF you go to Tallahasse nws site they said that the ridge is taking over the southeast not good for s.fl.

. discussion ... the 00 utc surface analysis shows a weak stationary
front from albany ... to panama city ... and southwest into the central
gulf. vapor imagery shows that the upper level trough that
contributed to the synoptic scale lift over our area yesterday has
weakened and ridging is developing over the southeast. isolated deep
convection is diminishing over the forecast area and the current
forecast looks on track.

I'm reading it the same way.

I also suggest the ULL is a wimp and is dissipating in front of her.

Has anybody considered that the ULL is disappearing because an elongated extension of the ridge has budged over Florida and is wiping it out? In this case Frances could yet have reached the bottom edge of this feature which would take her more west prior to Florida...

I still think there's a chance this will slam into SE FL on Friday.

In watching the WV imaginery tou see everything going through the FL strait's area in general.Will this be the path?
