I am cross-posting all the relevant messages on the Stormcarib forum as well for Bahamas, DR and Turks and Caicos so the information can be distributed as widespread as possible.

there are quite a few posts now
I thought that posting the URL miight be more helpful rather than take up space posting each and every post, especially now since the board here is overloaded

Yes msbee, Good Idea.

At this point it is good to get the information out everywhere and in everyway. I have all the Caribbean URLs linked up and am trying to form a record of all relevant posts and info from each country from every URL (there are so many), and I am grouping them by country instead of posting each one separately. Many people are still on slow phone links in the Caribbean and even in America, so it is easier if all the news is in one place. And Storm 2K is really the best, most comprehensive site for the region by far!! I am trying to cite all the URLs with each post as well.

Here is Sydney the whole city is linked with wireless rapid access, so we can be in the middle of the forest and surf with the speed of light!! For example I am having very few problems accessing Storm 2k even when slow.

yes, things in the Caribbean aren't so much state of the art sometimes.
I have high speed access but it is using satellites so it is very unreliable, espcially in bad weather

Thanks - this is really helpful. My brother in law is at the Club Med on Provenciales (sp?). It helps the rest of the family to be getting some information about what is happening there.
