Frances is rapidly intensifying

#1 Postby logybogy » Wed Sep 01, 2004 9:13 pm

Eye is getting a lot more distinct. I'm really wondering if this weakness will be enough to push a rapidly intensifying Cat 4/5 storm north. This thing will not make a sharp turn, any turn will be slow and gradual, and the better organized and bigger it gets, the harder it will be to get her to turn.

It's also not slowing down any that I can see.

Haven't heard much about this "creating its own environment" lately... What's the word on that concept???

I don't know about the intensification, she's lost some symmetry in the last few loops.

That said, it looks like she's headed back towards symmetry.
