You wouldn't Believe!

The traffic heading north on I-75! I just got to work and I can tell right now that I won't be taking the interstate home today! It seems that a lot of people are taking heed to evacuating. I am glad to see that. The problem is that normally, this area would be a place of refuge for evacuees, but I think that heading out of Florida is the best bet at this point. I drove south to work, and there was virtually NO traffic heading south but bumper to bumper heading north, at a very slow pace I might add.

Hi, I'm a Gator myself (spent 8 years in Gville). My dad is in WPB and he says I-95 is absolutely impossible.

That's the only way out, so I think they are not going to be able to evacuate everybody.

I asked this in another thread (sorry about the repeat)...will/has there been any contraflow be put into place?

I'm curious to see how well it works if it is used.

I also work in Gainesville, and live in High Springs. Thanks for the heads up. I'll avoid the interstate.
