Not a Wobble, Not a Turn, Its a West 'Hook'?

How's that term sit with everyone. I know i posted this as a reply to a previous post but.......

I hope I don't blow up that sat site by posting it so much, cause its really nice. But just simply draw a line over the 12 hour period of this loop, not from start point to end point, its a very obvious hook to the west. Looking like its going to end up near Broward/WPB county line at this rate.

Yes it is.

Think of Frances as a big 18 wheeler traveling north and wanting to make a turn to the west.

The big bad boy has to hook and slowly curve to the west.

This awesome loop shows that, run the loop and adjust the speed from slow to fast to slow to fast.

You'll see the left curve. Frances is being influenced by the ridge.

Very apparent turn after it passes that small island.

The turn was predicted by the NHC, it's too soon to tell how extreme it is. What I find more troubling is the eye has reformed nicely after being unorganized and clouded over for most of the day.

Its back on a northwest course even in your link...erratic movement can be expected
