loops and wobbles

#1 Postby c5Camille » Fri Sep 03, 2004 9:17 am

when looking at the historical records of past hurricanes we see
many storms that have looped, jogged, flipped... done some crazy things.
It's becoming more and more likely that we may end up with one of these
type storms. I'm not too sure anyone has a "firm grasp" on when, how
and where this thing is going. I personally have never seen a 5 day
forcast from the NHC or any of the models suggest a "loop"... but they
happen. As Frances slows, everything starts to get very complicated.
as far along into this as we are with Frances... it's not out of the question
for her to go to Miami... or be a fish... not likely... but possible. Especially is she slows anymore.
IMHO

get ready, get ready....

Well she is currently exploding so I'm wondering if her heading has or will change more in line with the steering flow. I just can't picture her bucking the ridge all the way to north Florida.
