Absolutely, I have cabin fever, I posted about this earlier, you can't sit at home with your boards up and watch tv all day. Its the same stuff over and over and if you watch it, you begin to hallucinate. I think i may take another drive along the beach. I am just concerned wit driving because some of these squall lines have 60 mph winds.

I'm with you, Jabber, as well. We are under a curfew so we couldn't leave the house if we wanted to. I've already finished my book, television isn't offering anything new, and I'm so bored to death already. And to think it could be like this for another 24-36 hours.

By the time Frances is out of our hair we'll be welcoming Ivan to the area.
Why don't we all gather in the Keys and blow south?
In all seriousness, when storms stall like this it only makes it worse. The waiting drives you nuts. On the positive side though at least she keeps weakening. That's a good thing for the folks arounh where she finally makes landfall. Let's count their blessings for them

Amen with that. So far boredom is the biggest enemy of this storm. My house is boarded up and dark-I feel like I'm living in a tuna can.
People are going stir crazy too. My sister and her husband have munched their way through an entire giant bag of Snickers bars and now have the trots. The funniest story I heard is from my friend Mike. His dad spent hours building a brace for Mike's garage door. Mike wasn't thinking tonight, hit the the automatic garage door opener tonight and destroyed the brace and the door.
If this storm lingers much longer, people are going to be raving loonies.
Just heard from the Boca EOC. Landfall isn't expected for another 17 hours-that makes it 1:00 PM. Yikes. CERT teams are ready to be deployed in the city after the storm, even though we aren't expecting high winds any more.
