Evacuation zone. Who would have thought?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Who would have thought that when evacuation orders were issued that Frances would obey them?

People right now have no idea what to expect. In my neighborhood kids are out playing.

Heck I'm gonna be ticked off (not reall). In some way, after buying all that wood, and spending 16 hours fortifying my house, I'd like to see how she holds up. So yea it's gonna tick me off a little when they get us all worked up and we get nothing.

http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic ... highlight=

here is what I posted just a few minutes agao, and I hope what you guys are saying is not fact when another storm approaches.

As I said, I have no choice but to work, but if I did have a choise, I would start packing as soon as the cone covered my area. My wife and I already had a plan for Frances if she happened to come this way, when she was way down south. Two children, 3 years and 4 months, and then 3 labs added to the mix, but we had a plan. I don't think I'd be mad if Frances doesn't produce. I'm concerned for the thinking process in the future, as some have already mentioned. MONEY doesn't buy families. Use the wood for the next time or donate it to someone who needs it.
