Frances track
I can't see how Frances will cut across FL it lookslike it will skim along the Atlantic coast I just don't see a track like their forecasting.

Unpredictable hurricane paths
So much has been said about
Frances possibly going more
northerly that I finally had to
comment.
We have lived in hilton head
area for 25 yrs. and been thru
many hurricanes, evacuations
etc. and I vividly remember
Hurricane David in 1979. When
we went to bed on a sun.nite
it was predicted to hit Miami
overnite but when we woke on
mon. David did not hit Miami.
It ended up skirting up the
coast and by Mon.eve we were
evacuating hilton head.
David came in at Sav.,Georgia
with 100 mh winds and stalled
over us for 3 hrs.
We never let our guard down
until it has made landfall
somewhere else or gone north
of us.
Let us hope this does not
happen as we now have so many
evacuees from fla.in sav. area
and vacationers on hhi that
any evacuation now would be
horrendous.

Building high over NE will prevent any skimming of the east coast.
