In NRL the pic for Ivan says 55kts,994 mbs so that will reflect in the 5 PM advisory.From early afternoon it has looked much better with more banding features and what it appears an eye feature trying to appear.

Agree 100% it looks much better this afternoon than this morning and it is a matter of time we will see hurricane Ivan.
